The prophet Habakkuk was perplexed by the injustice, iniquity, and oppression in Judah. He questioned God about the punishment due to the corrupt and violent people of his nation. How many times do we also question and lament the chaotic situation we face in our country?

But thankfully, the prophet didn’t just complain. He awaited the Lord’s response and trusted. Despite not understanding what God would do, he praised the Lord wholeheartedly. Regardless of the circumstances, he decided to fully trust in God.
